What is the biggest change in marketing that you see coming in the next 2 years?
Web3 without a doubt. We are undergoing historic and unprecedented change with Web3. I think we are going to see an entirely new way market to the audiences we need to reach. I think NFTs are going to be a real catalyst to seeing the movement take place. I think there is a way to keep the human element of this new territory. Our Atlanta home based consultancy Scout’s Honor has the experience to create compelling experiential campaigns to accompany Metaverse projects. We also do a lot in the realm of Design Thinking. I think this process is more important than ever in moving your brand, company or philanthropy from a web2 world to a Web3 world. Understanding the basic fundamentals of Web3 is key. The most important thing any of us can do right now is create meaningful ways to educate the public on the emergence of digital currencies and the blockchain and then use our creativity and imagination to develop new ways to market our brands, services and reach new marketing heights especially when it comes to projects “for good” and philanthropy.
How does a media buyer stay on top of trends with media placement?
I think media buyers need to be paying attention to the role of influencers as media and public relations advocates.
