What is your company Elevator pitch when talking about your company?
Business development in any aspect requires empathy. This is why I strongly believe my knowledge of marketing in combination with my ability to connect with individuals in the Denver market is needed. Positive human connection makes the world go ’round especially in a field where you start with an idea, generated by a human, in order to strategize how a brand can flourish.
What excites you the most about your industry?
It’s always changing and there’s so much room to be creative!
How do you go about making difficult leadership decisions, both big and small?
I rely on my mentors and network a lot to help guide me. That being said, I take time to think about pros and cons and the thought in the back of my head always is “you’ll never know unless you take the chance” if I do see potential in something.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to enhance their leadership skills?
Take the chance and make your presence known! Part of enhancing your leadership skills is showing up even when something is difficult or when you’re nervous because that really only translates to growth which inherently will increase your leadership skills.
What is the biggest challenge you think you or your organization is going to face in the upcoming year?
Starting a business is difficult and I’m only in the beginning stages. That being said, I think the biggest challenge I’ll face is keeping myself mentally healthy. Mental heath = wealth and being a solopreneur means I’m really doing this shit on my own — a routine of healthy mindfulness practices is key!
