What volunteer experience has impacted you the most?
Going to Washington DC yearly to interact with members of the rare disease community and getting the latest news.
What’s your favorite way to get involved in the community?
Anything dealing with kids and literacy. TALENTED BOOKS was created to nurture the intellect of children. We believe children should be encouraged to read and explore daily. We believe ALL kids deserve to see POSITIVE images that look like them EVERY day! TALENTED BOOKS caters to talented kids and grown ups too! Our goal is to create POSITIVE images of Black and brown people! I would love to be in space where I can provide books to every child, to get them on the right path to literacy.
