What nonprofit do you feel makes the greatest impact in our community?
There are so many…in my town, it’s Arlington Eats (https://www.arlingtoneats.org) because they fight food insecurity.
What volunteer experience has impacted you the most?
The one that impacted me the most was working with residents of a children’s hospital in South Bend, Indiana when I was in college. Joy is possible regardless of circumstances…
What’s your favorite way to get involved in the community?
I’ve coached kids. We support our local schools. My wife runs a non-profit center for independent learners. We donate to high-impact charities (like Arlington Eats) and we focus on taking care of people that need it. We adopted 2 boys from the dept of children and family services, we housed an asylum seeking family from Uganda, and we pay attention to what is going on.
