What nonprofit do you feel makes the greatest impact in our community?
The animal rescue centers in NYC make such a huge impact in our community! We are so inspired by their hard work, dedication, and passion towards finding loving homes for their animals, which is why we partner with as many of them as we can for our shows – spreading the wealth, knowledge, and awareness of all of the different ones!
What volunteer experience has impacted you the most?
Recently, my partner and Co-Founder, Nick Polanco, and I volunteered at the AIDS Walk New York 2022. This was such an impactful experience to be a part of because we were able to witness the strong communities this event has continually created for the past 36 years between volunteers and participants.
What’s your favorite way to get involved in the community?
Besides volunteer opportunities, my favorite way to get involved in the community is by hosting more of our shows! We are currently growing into new areas and neighborhoods in NYC to reach more people and pets. Our dog-friendly comedy shows are not just a fun time, they also build communities for dog lovers. People and their pups might come to the show and leave with a new best friend!
