What nonprofit do you feel makes the greatest impact in our community?
Right now, Maidan United, which is a Hartford, CT county based non-profit I feel really is having a great impact. They are a Ukrainian relief organization focused on purchasing life-saving medical supplies to get to the front lines of the Ukraine war.
What volunteer experience has impacted you the most?
I’ve been actively on boards since I was 25. I am currently on the board of reSET, a social enterprise startup organization based in Hartford. I am also the co-founder and board chair for B Local Connecticut. And I am the volunteer marketing director for Maidan United.
I was formerly an executive director of a chamber of commerce, which had a significant impact on my life.
What’s your favorite way to get involved in the community?
Showing up and volunteering is my favorite to get involved.
