What nonprofit do you feel makes the greatest impact in our community?
In my eyes, non profits that work with our youth are so important. Giving kids a chance and a voice will help them to be well adjusted adults.
What volunteer experience has impacted you the most?
My family and I recently participated in a food drive that benefited two local food pantries. It really impacted me in that my kids were with me and they learned a big lesson on food scarcity being such a big problem in our country. They were inspired to learn and help and want to take action.
What’s your favorite way to get involved in the community?
Supporting local businesses. So many local businesses shut down during the pandemic. I try my best to see if someone local has what I want before I shop on Amazon. I want to do my part to keep their doors open.
