What nonprofit do you feel makes the greatest impact in our community?
One of the amazing things about Las Vegas? The vast number of non profits that serve the community. As my work is dog and human connected I’ll pick ShadeTree/Noah’s Animal House – these connected shelters provide a critical service. Shadetree is a safe haven for women and children escaping domestic abuse and Noah’s is the related/attached shelter for the pets with which they escape so that they can stay together.
What volunteer experience has impacted you the most?
Again, hard to pick. Would have to say supporting local rescues/shelters by fostering – and having the opportunity to transform a dog’s behavior and see it find a forever home.
What’s your favorite way to get involved in the community?
I love when other small businesses open and I get to support them and shop local. Also giving free dog training sessions in local parks.
