What is your company Elevator pitch when talking about your company?
Evergent helps content and service providers optimize monetization from subscribers and viewers by providing a flexible and agile customer lifecycle management platform. By offering the necessary tools and infrastructure to support a flexible and fluid approach to monetization, the Evergent platform supports different business models, pricing options, promotions and encourages customer engagement. By offering a more active customer management approach for our customers, we enable them to increase their customer loyalty and retention and help them reduce churn. This is not about “back end” and “billing”, this is about enabling content providers to more proactively and effectively manage and optimize their customer relationships.
What is the biggest change in marketing that you see coming in the next 2 years?
We’ve seen a shift to mixed monetization models (i.e. AVOD/FAST and SVOD), which has required more agility and flexibility, both in our product and for our end users. This evolution has helped better serve our existing customers and appeal to new prospects.
What is one tip that you would give when it comes to digital marketing?
If a picture speaks a thousand words then a video is worth a million. Video is the most consumed content type among internet users. On average, people consume about 100 minutes of video content each day. And a major portion of the audience is consuming content from subscription video-on-demand (SVOD) services. According to Statista, by 2027, it is expected that the gross number of SVOD subscriptions will reach 458 million in the United States alone. My advice would be to move away from traditional ad formats and look for innovative opportunities on SVOD platforms to secure your target audience’s attention.
What is the main pain point that you solve for your customers?
A couple of years ago Forbes published an article that claimed that on average we are exposed to over 4000 advertisements a day, and that this number would only keep growing. Today advertisers are not only competing with competitors but also have to overcome the digital exhaustion caused by all the noise that we collectively experience online. As a result, it has become even more challenging to stand out and captivate potential customers’ attention and have them perform the desired call to action.
