What is the biggest change in marketing that you see coming in the next 2 years?
In web design, I see the proliferation of DIY design tools like SquareSpace and Shopify leading to an equal proliferation of weak, uninspiring design. This gives a tremendous opportunity to stand out to those who are willing to invest their time, money and effort into their online presence.
What is one tip that you would give when it comes to digital marketing?
Copy is king. I know that’s a weird thing to hear from a dedicated designer, but the most elegant design in the world will completely fail to convert if the copy is badly written. The only purpose of good design is to make good copy easy to read and digest. But the good copy has to come first.
