What is your company Elevator pitch when talking about your company?
Mygani LLC, is a lifestyle accessory brand that creates inspirational products for women + girls of color. Our product line features custom illustrations of black women with naturally curly hair. We want to empower them to be confident within themselves regardless of their hair texture or skin complexion.
What is the biggest change in marketing that you see coming in the next 2 years?
The biggest challenge I see in marketing is the way customers are buying and who they are buying from. I believe more people want to support small businesses and are invested in supporting the people behind the business.
What is one tip that you would give when it comes to digital marketing?
The one tip I would give when it comes to digital marketing is making sure your content aligns with your images. People are more likely to do business with a company they feel is authentic and relatable.
What is the main pain point that you solve for your customers?
Many times in retail spaces and in the media women of color are depicted as unworthy and seen in a negative light. Mygani’s, owner Felicia Wright wanted to change the narrative by creating positive images of black women with naturally curly hair, as illustrated on the brand’s accessory line.
