What is your company Elevator pitch when talking about your company?
M7 Innovations is a technology, creative and innovation consultancy that helps companies navigate emerging media platforms and new technologies from AR to VR, voice to machine learning, and any consumer touchpoint in either the physical and digital world.
What is the biggest change in marketing that you see coming in the next 2 years?
The depreciation of cookies and rise of hardware-based blockers (e.g. Apple’s iOS14.5) is the existential crisis for marketers that can only be solved by going back to creating powerful, contextual, scroll-stopping advertisements. In the next two years, a premium will be placed on the quality, relevancy and immersion of ads, not the low-cost performative placements that don’t abide by privacy guidelines.
What is one tip that you would give when it comes to digital marketing?
Start by discovering and solving a customer tension and work backwards from there. Many companies jockey for position (e.g. SOV) for their chance to shout at the consumer at why they’re best, digital is on-demand and no longer works like that. I’ve found providing a value via advertising (e.g. Google Swirl Unit with 3D model that leads to virtual try-on experience) can yield the best results.
What is the main pain point that you solve for your customers?
Technology and emerging media platforms are accelerating at breakneck speed, making it almost impossible for brands and marketers to keep up. We educate, ideate, and execute, helping to incorporate technology in innovative ways for companies. We also act as the tech translators and connective fiber between an organization, and their agency and tech partners.
